Pre-Treatment Roof Tune-Up in Madeira Beach
A treatment does its best work on a roof with no loose ends. The tune-up closes the small gaps first, and its cost sits on the same quote as the treatment.
Three small jobs, one quote
Nails and flashing
Exposed nail heads and lifted flashing edges are sealed so water has nowhere to start.
Vents and pipe boots
Loose vents and tired pipe boots are secured before anything goes on the shingles.
Shingle swaps
Loose or missing shingles are replaced, so the roof is whole on treatment day.
Why the small things come first
Rejuvenation softens shingles. It does not close a gap around a vent or put back a shingle the wind took. Treat a roof with those faults still open and you are paying for a result that is undercut from the start.
Most of these items turn up during the roof assessment. When they do, they are written into your figure line by line, so nothing reappears later as an extra.
Where the tune-up stops
Small and specific, or it belongs to a roofer. We draw that line out loud.
Part of the tune-up
- Sealing exposed nail heads
- Resealing lifted flashing edges
- Securing vents and pipe boots
- Replacing loose or missing shingles
Sent to a roofer
- Active leaks or water stains on ceilings
- Storm damage
- Soft decking or sagging areas
- Re-roofing any section
Where it sits in the order of work
Assessment
Every small fault is noted, and each one is priced.
Tune-up
The fixes are made and checked before any treatment is scheduled.
Treatment
The shingle rejuvenation goes onto a roof that is sound and closed up.
