Before anything is sprayed, someone has to decide whether your shingles can still benefit. We climb up, test them by hand and come down with a straight answer and a number.
Why the look comes first
A figure given over the phone is a guess. Two houses of the same age on the same street can carry shingles in very different shape, depending on how much afternoon sun each slope takes and how well the attic breathes.
So the first job always happens on the roof itself. What we find there decides everything after it, from whether treatment makes sense, to what has to be done beforehand, to what the whole job will cost.

- Shingle flexibility, tested by hand on several slopes
- Granule loss on the shingles and in the gutters
- Rough age, and how evenly the roof has worn
- Lifted, cracked, loose or missing shingles
- Algae streaks or moss that should come off first

If the answer is yes, the full figure comes with it, including any tune-up or soft washing the roof needs first.
Straight answers about the assessment
What if my roof is past treating?
- We say so and show you what we saw. A roof that needs repair or replacement needs a roofer, and you hear that from us before a cent goes on treatment.
Do I have to book the treatment afterwards?
- No. You leave with an answer and a figure. What you do with them is up to you.
Do you look at tile roofs too?
- Yes. Concrete and clay tile is a different job, so the answer there is about tile cleaning and sealing, not the shingle treatment.
